Starting Salary: £19539 (Full Time) £10.02 per hour depending on experience PLUS a £500 "golden welcome" on successful completion of probationary period and training.

If you have the right values, and transferable skills, we will support you with a comprehensive training and induction plan, pay for your initial registration with the SSSC and support you to complete your SVQ qualifications.
We also have an Employee Wellbeing Programme available to all staff, and Annual Leave of 29 days in year one, and 34 days in year two; this includes all public holidays.
THE ROLE: The aim of this role is to support people with a learning disability to achieve their planned outcomes within their Support Plans, to support them to live as independently as possible whilst helping them to stay safe and healthy.
Key duties: Building respectful and professional relationships with people who are being supported, you will assist in their everyday care, which may include personal and intimate care, bathing/showering, dressing and eating. You will also give help in supporting with all aspects of housework, assist with money management and with their day to day activities which may include shopping, short breaks, holidays and church or spiritual activities.
The role will also entail being responsible for administering medication safely and in accordance with our procedures. There is a requirement to keep accurate written records and reports according to professional standards and help implement Support Plan procedures, involving the people we support in their personal support and care and help them achieve the outcomes that they want in life.
You must be prepared to work flexibly, which may include working evening, weekends, public holidays (which may include Christmas or New Year).
