On Saturday 19th June, L’Arche Communities in the UK will be joining together to take part in a new annual event in aid of L’Arche International. Walking Together is a fundraising walk for everyone; friends, families and supporters of L’Arche all joining together to celebrate our togetherness and raise money for the International Communities of L’Arche.

The Walk

The walk will begin at 11am in Abriachan Forest Trust. The route will be on the accessible paths in the forest -  with a BBQ at the end to celebrate everyone's hard work.

There will be a shorter and longer route -  depending on individuals ability and choice.

Registering your place

Registration costs just £5 per person which will include your own special Walking Together t-shirt and refreshments at the end of the walk. You can register online or through the registration leaflets at the Community. Speak to Ishbel Barr for more information.

Fundraising for L’Arche International

Each Community will be raising money to help L’Arche Communities around the world. Most of our L’Arche International Communities receive little or no state funding, and many of our overseas Communities are trying to deliver support to some of the most vulnerable and most underprivileged people. There is an enormous need for the work and vision of L’Arche; many people depend on us for the safety and security of their lives, and desperately need our support. Please help us to help them.
